Go Happy Go…Uh Oh

After a wonderful, yet tiring, opening morning, we were all eager to check in to the Howard Johnson Inn in Scott, Louisiana. Some of us were a bit too eager….

Henrietta, our beloved truck, took a nice bite out of the HoJo overhang. Thankfully no one was hurt and everything is fine! Here are a few snapshots of the incident (before the sheriff kindly asked us to put our cameras away).





As the only born and raised New Yorker on this tour, I am certainly the most qualified to drive the truck from now on. My experience driving the family Subaru on the streets of Shaolin has finally come in handy!
